2023 has ended, and humanity enters a new year in 2024, and while it is not a clean slate entirely, there are opportunities to usher in change and reflect on the errant nature of the past year, and everything that has unfolded then.

6:30. October 7. While most would be in the chasm between sleep and full consciousness at the time, gradually drudging through the sleepy-eyed quagmire of beginning a day, those in Southern Israeli cities, such as Sderot, Be'er Sheva, Sa’ad, and Ashkelon were not.

The Rainbow Nation beckons with life changing experiences for this group of Newman students. In March 2024, Newman students will travel with Ms. Rothman and Ms. Schafer to South Africa. The goal is to expand knowledge of the world around us and help increase cultural awareness.

The time has come again, in which we return to busy hallways and late nights of homework. The summer season of warm days has softly transformed into crisp air, and the students return as new people. Changed by summer experiences, we each bring to the school year new findings of who we are.
