Newman students have a great privilege; The city is our campus. So, when the bell rings throughout the halls at 11:40 for lunch, students are permitted to go off Newman’s campus out to lunch along Newbury and Boylston Street. Welcome back to the Newsman Debate Column. Our next topic to debate is a very controversial one, “What color is math?” The Newman community is very divided on this question.

Our first topic for debate is “Which Type of Book is Better?” The Newman community has spoken, with 44 responses, and the best type of book is... paper books! In second place came E-books, while audiobooks came in third.

The students have spoken, and in a pool of 44 students, 24 say no to pineapple on pizza and 20 say yes to pineapple on pizza. This is an interesting and very close split between responses and does reflect the current debate surrounding pineapple and it’s place on pizza.
