Director of Communications Candidate: Niall Powers-Özyurt

My name is Niall Powers Özyurt and I am running for Director of Communications. As the Director of Communications, I will make it my mission to ensure that every student, parent, and faculty member will be up to date on vital information and the current happenings of the school. I have a large amount of experience in the mediums of photo editing and video production, including the film: “The Artist, the Bag, and the Terrorist.” In the past I have collaborated with Headmaster Mr. Schafer and Mrs. Schafer on numerous projects, including multiple admissions videos. In addition, I have previous experience as the president of my previous school’s student council so I possess the confidence to effectively communicate with the faculty and student government of Newman.
